Short answer: the best IPTV Black Friday deal in 2026 will almost certainly be a discounted first few months on a licensed live TV service, not a cheap year. Last year YouTube TV ran $72.99 a month for three months, Fubo took $30 off a first month, DirecTV took $45 off, and Frndly TV dropped to $0.99 a month. Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026. If you're not subscribed yet, waiting is usually worth it; if you are, a retention offer may beat anything on the sale pages.

What live TV discounted on Black Friday 2025

This is the best guide to 2026, because the same companies tend to repeat what worked. Here is what licensed services offered over Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025, as reported at the time.

Service 2025 offer Normal price Lasted
YouTube TV Base $72.99/mo $82.99 3 months; sign up by Dec 31
Fubo Pro $54.99 first month $84.99 1 month
Fubo Elite $64.99 first month $94.99 1 month
DirecTV Premier $124.99 first month $169.99 1 month
Frndly TV Premium $0.99/mo, or $99 a year $12.99/mo 3 months; ended Dec 1
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited $29.99/mo $35.99 Up to 12 months
Prime Video channels Up to 75% off (e.g. HBO Max $2.99) Varies Usually 2 months; ended Dec 1

On-demand services went further. Hulu with ads was $0.99 a month for a year for new subscribers, Paramount+ was $2.99 a month for two months, and Starz was $2.99 for three. Netflix, as usual, didn't take part.

Two things stand out. The live TV discounts were modest, roughly 12% to 35% off for one to three months. And the most generous offers were on smaller services trying to win subscribers, like Frndly TV, rather than on YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV.

The 2023 and 2024 pattern

The two earlier years followed the same script, with on-demand services doing the heavy discounting.

Hulu's $0.99-a-month offer for its ad-supported plan has run in some form for several Black Fridays in a row, including 2023 and 2024. It's the most predictable streaming deal of the year.

Peacock offered Premium at $1.99 a month for six months in 2024, with a $19.99 first-year option reported as well. Max (now HBO Max) ran $2.99 a month for six months the same year.

Live TV services mostly ran their normal first-month discounts a little deeper, or added free premium channels for a few months. We couldn't find a year where a major live TV service cut its price for a full twelve months on Black Friday.

The lesson: expect the big percentages on on-demand apps and channel add-ons, and expect live TV deals measured in tens of dollars over a month or three.

What to expect in 2026

We can't know the offers until they're announced, but several things about this year shape them.

Prices went up in September. Peacock Premium rose from $10.99 to $12.99 and ESPN Unlimited from $29.99 to $31.99. Services that just raised prices often use Black Friday to win back people who left, so returning-subscriber offers are likely.

Football season is in full swing. Black Friday lands in week 13 of the NFL season and rivalry week in college football. Sports-heavy services have less reason to discount deeply, because demand is already high.

Skinnier plans are the new battleground. YouTube TV's genre plans and Fubo's Sports plan are cheaper entry points that didn't exist a few years ago. Expect promos on those rather than on the full bundles.

Prime Video channels will be on sale. Amazon has discounted its add-on channels by up to 75% for several years running. If you want HBO Max, Starz or AMC+ alongside live TV, that's where the deep cuts will be.

Our best guess for live TV: $10 to $20 off for two or three months on YouTube TV, $20 to $40 off a first month on Fubo, Sling and DirecTV, and at least one sub-$1 offer from Frndly TV or a similar small service. Treat that as a forecast, not a promise.

How to time the signup

A simple calendar for 2026:

When What to do
Now to mid-November Use a free trial if you need TV before the sale. Philo and Frndly TV offer 7 days.
Around November 20 Early deals start appearing, especially on Prime Video channels.
November 27 to 30 Main window. Compare the price you'll pay in month four, not month one.
December 1 Many 2025 offers ended here. Don't count on an extension.
Late December Some live TV offers ran to December 31 last year. A second chance, not a guarantee.

One trap: if you start a free trial and it converts before Black Friday, you become an existing subscriber and usually can't claim the new-subscriber price. Time trials to end before the sale, or skip them.

Most Black Friday offers say "new and eligible returning subscribers". Eligibility for returning customers usually needs a gap of weeks or months, so cancelling on Wednesday to rejoin on Friday rarely works.

What often does work is the cancellation flow itself. Several live TV services show a retention offer, such as a discounted month or two, when you start to cancel. It isn't guaranteed, and you shouldn't cancel unless you're prepared to leave, but it costs nothing to see what comes up.

The other move is switching plans rather than services. If a skinnier plan from your current provider fits, downgrading saves money every month, not just for three.

Is a Black Friday deal really cheaper?

Run the year, not the month. Take last year's YouTube TV offer: three months at $72.99 and nine at $82.99 is $965.88 for the year, against $995.88 at full price. That's a $30 saving, or 3%. Useful, but it's smaller than the saving from cancelling for one month in the summer.

Frndly TV's $99 annual offer was a different story: $99 for a year of Premium against $155.88 at the monthly rate, a 36% saving that lasts all twelve months. A deep annual price on a service you'd keep anyway is the best kind of Black Friday deal.

Our rule of thumb: a one-month cut is worth taking if you were going to subscribe anyway. It's not a reason to subscribe.

The Black Friday offers to avoid

Search for an IPTV Black Friday deal and a lot of results push "lifetime" plans, two- and five-year prepay ladders, and 20,000 channels for a few pounds or dollars a month, with 48-hour "money-back" windows. Those aren't licensed services. They can't legally carry ESPN, Fox Sports or the regional sports networks at that price, they often take payment only by crypto, gift card or a personal transfer, and when they vanish, your prepaid years vanish too. A Black Friday deadline is exactly the pressure they rely on.

A quick check: if the app isn't in your TV's official app store under the company's own name, and the company can't take a normal credit card, walk away.

Our pick

For live TV: wait for the YouTube TV offer if you want the most complete service. Last year's $10 off for three months is a reasonable expectation.

For the best value: watch for a Frndly TV annual price. If it repeats anything close to $99 a year, it's the best-value deal in live TV.

For extras: buy HBO Max, Starz or AMC+ through Prime Video's sale, and set a reminder for the end of the second month.

Quick answers

When is Black Friday 2026? Friday, November 27, 2026. Cyber Monday is November 30.

Does YouTube TV have a Black Friday deal? In 2025 it offered the Base plan at $72.99 a month for three months instead of $82.99. Its 2026 offer hadn't been announced when we checked.

Will Hulu + Live TV be discounted on Black Friday? Hulu's famous $0.99 deal is for its on-demand plan with ads, not Hulu + Live TV. Live TV discounts have been much smaller.

Can existing subscribers get Black Friday deals? Usually not. Most offers are for new or returning subscribers after a gap. A retention offer when you start to cancel is the more likely route.

Are lifetime IPTV Black Friday deals legit? No licensed US live TV service sells a lifetime plan. Lifetime offers with thousands of channels come from unlicensed sellers.

Should I wait until Black Friday to sign up? If you can, yes, or use a free trial that ends before the sale. Don't let a trial convert just before the deals start.

What streaming deals were the best in 2025? The biggest percentage cuts were on Prime Video channels at up to 75% off and Hulu at $0.99 a month. In live TV, Frndly TV's $0.99 Premium offer was the standout.
