Buy TiviMate Premium Safely: Price, Steps and Fake Code Red Flags

Short answer: the only safe way to buy TiviMate Premium is through the official TiviMate Companion app (or the official TiviMate site), paying with your own account. In the US that's roughly $10 a year or $30 to $35 for a lifetime license as of October 2026, and one purchase covers up to five devices. Anyone selling a "TiviMate code", an "activated" box or a "Premium unlocked" download is not selling you a real license, and those deals regularly end with a dead account or worse.

Lifetime About $30–$35, one payment

Yearly or lifetime: what you'll pay

TiviMate sells Premium two ways: a yearly subscription that renews automatically, and a lifetime license you pay for once. Both unlock the same features and both cover up to five devices on one TiviMate account.

Plan US price (Oct 2026, approx.) Per device, 5 TVs Best for
Free $0 $0 One playlist, testing
Yearly About $10 a year About $2 a year Unsure you'll stay
Lifetime About $30–$35 once About $6–$7 once Anyone using it 3+ years

The developer has raised prices several times. A lifetime license was $19.99 at one point and $26.99 by late 2022, and recent US listings sit around the figures above. Prices are set per country and shown in your local currency, so the Companion app's checkout screen is the only number to trust.

The math is simple. If you expect to use TiviMate for more than about three years, lifetime is cheaper. If you're new to it or might switch players, start yearly; you lose little if you change your mind.

You'll see posts about buying Premium cheaply by switching your Google Play country to somewhere with lower prices. Don't. It goes against Google Play's terms, Google limits how often you can change country, and a purchase made that way can be reversed.

Before you pay

Three checks save most refund requests.

Check your device. TiviMate runs on Android TV, Google TV and Android-based Fire OS devices such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, 4K Plus and Fire TV Cube. It doesn't run on Apple TV, iPhone, Roku, Samsung or LG smart TVs, or Vega OS Fire TV sticks like the 4K Select. Premium can't change that.

Check your source. TiviMate is a player only and ships no channels. You need a playlist from a licensed service that provides M3U or Xtream logins to its own customers, an antenna tuner such as an HDHomeRun, a Channels DVR server, or another source you're legally allowed to use.

Try the free version. Install TiviMate, add your playlist, and watch for a few days. If you only use one playlist and never record, you may not need Premium at all.

How to buy it, step by step

  1. Install TiviMate on your TV device from the official source for that device.
  2. Install TiviMate Companion on an Android phone or tablet from Google Play. Check that the developer name matches the one shown on the official TiviMate site, and ignore lookalike apps.
  3. Create a TiviMate account in the Companion app with an email address you control and a unique password.
  4. Choose yearly or lifetime and pay through Google Play. The payment goes through your Google account, so you can use a card on file, PayPal where offered, Google Play balance from gift cards, or carrier billing where your carrier supports it.
  5. Sign in on the TV. In TiviMate, open Settings, find the Premium or account section, and sign in with the same account. Premium features unlock straight away.

No Android phone? Use an Android tablet, or borrow an Android phone and add your own Google account to it just for the purchase, then remove it. Check the official TiviMate site too, in case it offers checkout in your country. Don't hand money to someone who offers to "buy it for you"; you'd be sharing their account, not owning your own.

If Premium doesn't unlock on the TV, check that you signed in with exactly the same email on both devices, then restart TiviMate. Purchases occasionally take a few minutes to register, so wait before contacting support or paying twice.

Keep the Google Play receipt email. It's your proof of purchase if anything goes wrong.

Activating on up to five devices

One Premium account covers up to five devices. On each extra TV box, install TiviMate and sign in with the same account. That's it, there's no separate key.

If you replace a device, sign out of TiviMate on the old one before you sell it or reset it, so it stops using one of your five slots. If you've lost access to an old device, check the Companion app for a way to manage devices, and contact TiviMate support if you can't free the slot yourself.

Five devices means five devices in your household. Sharing your login with friends is the fastest way to get an account flagged, and it's exactly how the resold "TiviMate code" market works.

Spotting fake "TiviMate code" sellers

A whole gray market has grown around TiviMate's name. It's easy to recognize once you know the signs.

  • "TiviMate activation codes" or "keys". TiviMate Premium works through an account login, not a code you type in. A seller offering codes is either selling access to someone else's account or nothing at all.
  • Prices far below the official one. "Lifetime for $5" means a shared or stolen account that will be shut off when the developer notices.
  • "Premium unlocked" or "Pro" APK downloads. These are modified apps. You can't see what was changed, and a modified app on your network is a security problem, not a bargain.
  • Boxes sold "fully loaded" with TiviMate Premium. You don't own that license, and the channels that usually come with these boxes are rarely licensed.
  • Payment by crypto, gift card codes or messaging apps. No refund, no receipt, no recourse.
  • Bundles with a TV service. A legitimate provider can recommend TiviMate, but it can't sell you TiviMate Premium. Premium comes only from the developer.

If you've already paid one of these sellers, change any password you shared with them, uninstall modified apps, and buy a real license through the Companion app. Ask your card issuer about a chargeback if you paid by card.

Refunds and cancelling

Because the purchase goes through Google Play, Google's refund rules apply. You can request a refund through your Google Play order history, and requests made shortly after purchase (Google states 48 hours for most purchases) are the most straightforward. After that, refunds are generally at the developer's discretion, so contact TiviMate support with your receipt.

To stop a yearly subscription renewing, cancel it in Google Play's Subscriptions screen on the Google account you paid with. Premium keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

A lifetime license doesn't renew, so there's nothing to cancel. It's tied to your TiviMate account, so keep that login safe.

Buy this if, skip it if

Buy Premium if you use more than one playlist, want to record from the guide, want catch-up in the guide or multiview, or have several Android TVs to share one license across.

Buy lifetime if you've used TiviMate for a while and know you'll keep it. It pays off against the yearly plan in about three years.

Skip Premium if one playlist and the free guide are enough, your main TV isn't Android-based, or you're still deciding between players.

Skip any seller who isn't the official TiviMate Companion app or site. There's no exception to this.

Our pick

Install the free version, use it for a week, then buy the yearly plan through the Companion app if you need Premium features. When it comes up for renewal and you're still happy, switch to lifetime. It's the lowest-risk way to spend about $10 now and roughly $30 to $35 once, rather than gambling on a cheap code that disappears.
